TAI CHI

 

           TAI CHI is an ancient Chinese art - full name "tai chi ch'uan" -
           which translates as "Chinese shadow boxing". 
TAI CHI
           consists of sequences of smooth, flowing movements called
           forms that are inspired by animals in nature. 
TAI CHI is a state
           of constant, unified motion and fosters a calm and tranquill mind.

           TAI CHI provides a practical avenue for learning balance,
           alignment, fine-scale motor control, rhythm of movement, and
           movement from the body's vital center - "chi" - the life force
           energy of the body.

 

           TAI CHI learned by senior citizens improves balance and
           strength thus reducing the risk of falls.
